What We Believe

DOCTRINE OF THE BIBLE – We believe in the full inspiration of the word of God. By inspiration we mean the act whereby God, the Holy Spirit, gave us the scriptures communicating the truth to us through the agency of fallible men. Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

(2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 1:1; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Rev. 22:18, 19)

DOCTRINE OF GOD – We believe the God head exists in three persons – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. These three make up one God (Trinity) and they are eternal and equal in all aspects.

(Genesis 1:1, 1:25; John 1:1 14; John 14:16-17; 1 Timothy 3:16; Deuteronomy 6:4)

DOCTRINE OF JESUS CHRIST – We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son (deity), born of a virgin, begotten by the Holy Spirit. Very God and very man. He died, was buried and rose gain the third day. He is the only way of salvation.

(Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:35; John 1:1-4, John 10:30; John 14:6; 1 Timothy 2:5, 6)

DOCTRINE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT – We believe the Holy Spirit is God and equal with the Father and Son. He convicts, regenerates, indwells, seals, empowers and guides the believer. We also believe the Baptism with the Holy Ghost is for all believers today for an endowment of power for the service of the Lord and the speaking in other tongues is available to all. When you believe on the Lord Jesus the Holy Spirit indwells you and Baptism empowers you for effective service. The gifts of the Spirit are also given to the believer to manifest the power of God in the earth.

(John 16:7-13; John 3:3-5; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Ephesians 1:13. Acts 1:8; Ephesians 5:18; Acts 2; 1 Cor.12-14)

DOCTRINE OF MAN – We believe that God created man in His own image and that man sinned against God. All men are born with a sinful nature and must be born again or he will be eternally lost in hell.

(Genesis 1:26, 27; Psalms 51:5; Luke 16:23; Romans 3:23; Rev. 20-11-15; Rev. 21:8)

DOCTRINE OF SALVATION - We believe a person is born again (saved) when he repents of his sin, and turns in faith accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Salvation includes the forgiveness of sins past, present and future, which gives a perfect standing before God in Christ.

(John 1:12; John 5:24; John 10:28, 29; 1 Peter 1:5; Eph. 2:8, 9; Heb. 9:27; Rev. 20:11-15)

DOCTRINE OF THE CHURCH – We believe the church is the called out body of believers who are agents of God sent forth to establish God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.  We are sons and daughters of God who obeys the Father’s will and fulfills the great commission.

(Isaiah 9:6, 7; 1 Cor. 12:13, acts 2:41, 47; Heb. 10:35; Matthew 28:18-20. Luke 11:2)

DOCTRINE OF HEALING – We believe in the healing of the body by Divine Power or Divine Healing in its many aspects as practiced by the early church.

(Acts 4:30; Rom. 8:11; 1 Cor. 12:9; James 5:14; Matt. 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24; Mark 16:17-20)

DOCTRINE OF SATAN AND FALLEN ANGELS – We believe that satan is a personal being, created perfectly by God, but sinned and became the arch enemy of God and His creation. He (satan) will one day be cast into the lake of fire forever.

(Ezekiel 28:12-19; Isa. 14:12-14; Rev. 12:10; Rev. 20:10)

DOCTRINE OF FUTURE EVENTS – We believe that our King, Jesus, will return to earth with His bride, execute judgment and we will reign with Him throughout eternity.
